Helen Sharritt Interiors is a small business in the San Francisco Bay area, and was in need of a website refresh. Content analysis and persona research helped identify user’s goals, with primary importance placed on viewing pictures of past work.
A simplified navigation scheme was identified for the website, placing a project portfolio front and center for clients to browse through past work. Social media and contact forms are embedded on each page allowing clients to easily get in touch to start a project.
The overall end-user experience of the website was drastically improved by simplifying its structure and adding visual content to better suit user needs.
A simplified user experience was created with card sorting and some basic persona research to simplify navigation and content.
