Laura Minnigerode, M.Ed., is a usability and formative evaluation consultant based in Austin, Texas. She began her career in the research department at Children’s Television Workshop, and had a similar role at WGBH in Boston. She earned a Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, working with usability and evaluation expert Dr. Barbara Flagg. She was part of the founding team of the Living Books series in the early days of children’s software. She has served as a usability consultant for video game and app projects at Lucas Learning, National Geographic, WNET, WGBH and PBS Kids among others. She is also a video game historian, middle school mentor, and twitter aficionado at @LauraMinAustin.
