Google has unveiled a new search method called “Caffeine,” which it claims is faster at indexing new information.

If you search Google on Tuesday, you may notice that the information you’re looking for is a bit “fresher” than it would have been on Monday.

A group of students in China produced the image montage software, and had the following to say about it:

We present a system that composes a realistic picture from a simple freehand sketch annotated with text labels. The composed picture is generated by seamlessly stitching several photographs in agreement with the sketch and text labels; these are found by searching the Internet. Read more »
