Video Game Research: Academic Journal Papers & Book Chapters
Our self-funded research focuses on creating engaging video game play by taking an open-ended look at what is accomplished by gamers while playing video games. The research initiated during Dr. Sharritt's doctorate led him to discover features of commercial games that manifest in collaborative human interaction and engaged learning experiences. These findings transfer to the design of hardware, software, web and video game interfaces to create meaningful interaction (and satisfied users).
